Jim Ugone, CEPA
Founder & Investment Advisor; Series 6, 63, and 65
Jim is the founder of Topsfield Financial Group and its predecessor, Farmers Financial Group. After beginning his career as a high school teacher, Jim transitioned into insurance and risk management for the agricultural industries in Massachusetts. As a highly successful producer, he exponentially grew his own practice and ultimately served as regional manager, supporting and developing over 13 locations across the state.
Twenty years later, Jim leads the firm’s investment strategy and manages client portfolios, drawing on decades of experience to guide thoughtful, disciplined financial decisions. He is also the lead presenter in meetings with prospective clients, where his experience and wisdom clearly connect our team approach to financial planning and investment management. Jim is passionate about helping families and small businesses bridge the gap between personal planning, financial planning, and investment management, using his background in teaching and risk management to communicate prudent financial wisdom.
While Jim has dedicated his life to Topsfield Financial Group and its clients, he still finds time to fly fish, garden, and volunteer extensively in his home community of Rockport, MA.
