Jim is the founder of Topsfield Financial Group and its predecessor, Farmers Financial Group. After beginning his career as a high school teacher, Jim transitioned to the field of insurance and risk management for the agricultural industries in Massachusetts. As a highly successful producer/agent he exponentially grew his own practice and ultimately served as regional manager, supporting and developing over 13 locations throughout the state. Jim is passionate about helping families and small businesses bridge the gap between personal planning, financial planning and investment management, drawing upon his teaching and risk management skills to share prudent financial wisdom. While Jim has dedicated his life to Topsfield Financial Group and its clients, he still finds time to fly fish, garden, and volunteer extensively in his home community of Rockport, MA.
